Really glad we stopped at this restaurant. We had the German buffet and it was delicious! Some of the dishes were new to us but everything was excellent. Make sure you save room for pie and ice cream! I had the mixed berry and my husband had the cherry! Homemade and delicious! We bought a cinnamon roll for breakfast the next morning. It was huge so one is enough for two people. It was delicious as well! The waitresses were so friendly! We really enjoyed talking to them.
Had Mother's Day breakfast and everything was delicious! I had bacon, eggs, potatoes and the best, homemade wheat toast. My husband had 2 pancakes and bacon. They were the size of his plate! Huge! We split a warm, huge cinnamon roll to round out the meal. We loved this restaurant and the cute, small town.
Stopped on our drive cross country, we stayed in Lawrence but wish we had stayed in Wilson! Such a cute little spot. The food was cheap and delicious and gives an old school country vibe. We had omelettes and biscuits and hash browns, delicious! My first time in Kansas and if im ever here again on I70 im stopping here. Our waitress was so sweet to us and even made sure we could buy a mug! 10/10
